Playtop wet pour safety surface is a continuous, joint-free, porous material made from rubber granules and polyurethane binders.
It is mixed and installed on-site as a wet pour product and can be laid in any shape, either on a purpose-built base or over existing asphalt.
The base layer is made from recycled rubber from tyres and the top layer consists of finer EPDM rubber granules, available in many bright, permanent colours.
The elastic properties of the wet pour rubber surfacing provide cushioning to absorb the impact from a fall onto the surface. The greater the depth of the surface, the more impact can be absorbed. Playtop's unique base layer interlocks with the top layer to provide a strong interlocking bond that is superior within the industry and also gives the surface an incredibly long life cycle.
Playtop Outdoor offers a safe playground surface. With its flexible pouring option, Playtop can be installed around existing playground equipment, such as swing sets, quickly and easily.
Playground safety is paramount for children's play areas. Playtop can be applied are various thicknesses to meet fall height ratings to offer a safe surface. This makes Playtop suitable for commercial playgrounds and public, residential playgrounds.
Because of its continuous pour, you can avoid any joint lines that come with alternative solutions like rubber flooring tiles. This offers a greater level of safety by removing the potential of any trip-hazards that can develop as a result of weathering on rubber tiles.
